THE 11TH ANNUAL ROXY WAHINE CLASSIC PRESENTED BY GIRL IN THE CURL SURF SHOP
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 September, 2007 : - - Huntington Beach, Ca - - The 11th Annual Roxy Wahine Classic presented by Girl in the Curl Surf Shop returns to San Onofre State Beach, October 6, 2007. The one-day amateur longboarding contest is open to women and girls of all ages.
The Roxy Wahine Classic will feature six divisions of competition from the nine and under "Itsy Bitsys" division to the "Masters" division for women 35 and older. Last year's contest brought out over 150 amateur nose-riding wahines from California for a fun day of friendly competition. All competitors will receive a Roxy goodie bag and winners will receive a special Wahine Classic trophy.
Nalu's Island Grill will once again serve a traditional Hawaiian lunch plate on the beach for the competitors. The event will also feature several award ceremonies. Girl in the Curl will also host a Registration/VIP press party on Friday, October 5 at the Girl in the Curl Surf Shop in Dana Point from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
