Noll Longboard Classic coming to California

This year's Noll Longboard Classic encourages surfers of all shapes, sizes and abilties to shred in Northern California. When is the event this year? September 29th & 30th 2007. Is there an age limit? No, There is a division for every age. How long must by surfboard be? 9 feet or longer. Can I still surf if I am just a beginner? Yes! Everyone else does. :)

How do I enter? If you were a contestant in previous years, an entry form will be sent to your last known address. Entry forms are also available by fax, Call Noll Surf & Skate @ 707-465-4400 and in person at the Noll Surf & SkateShop. Contact us. What does it cost? $40.00 to enter and you get a free t-shirt and goody bag.

Fans of the heaviest thumping beachbreak in the world

This group is for surfers that make the annual pilgrimage to Playa Zicatela. No matter how great of a surfer you are, your skills will be tested at this heavy break. This is also one of the nicest, preserved destinations in the world. The locals are cool, very supportive, and now showing us gringos that they know their wave better than most. Join in on the discussion and share your photos, stories and smiles from your experience at Puerto.

Duke Paoa Kahinu Mokoe Hulikohola Kahanamoku (August 24, 1890 – January 22, 1968), is generally regarded as the person who popularized the modern sport of surfing. He was also three time Olympic gold medal champion in swimming.
